Meet Dr. Wright
Dr. Chad Wright completed his pre-doctoral education at BYU before attending UCLA Dental School. In 1998 he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was the valedictorian of his Dental Class. After Dental School, Dr. Wright completed a residency in Hospital Based Dentistry at a Veteran’s Hospital, and practiced General Dentistry for one year before his orthodontic training.
Dr. Wright completed his residency in Orthodontics at Indiana University. In addition to receiving his Specialty Certificate, Dr. Wright elected to pursue and complete his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics. Since he began his Orthodontic career, Dr. Wright has treated nearly ten thousand orthodontic cases, and nearly eight hundred of those with Invisalign.
Dr. Wright has lectured extensively to a variety of audiences, serving as a national spokesman for a leading orthodontic supply company, and as one of Invisalign’s clinical instructors for several years. Dr. Wright and his wife Laura are the parents of four wonderful children, all of whom have needed braces. When not in his office, Dr. Wright enjoys running, road-biking, writing and singing.
Dr. Wright was certified to treat cases with Invisalign in 2000, and has treated nearly 800 Invisalign cases, and has helped over 9000 patients with traditional and ceramic braces. An experienced lecturer and speaker, Dr. Wright has taught at numerous venues, including:

Dr. Wright has also been one of Invisalign’s Clinical Instructors, and is an active member of the American Dental Association™ and the American Association of Orthodontists. He uses the latest technological advancements that make braces less noticeable, improve patient comfort, and reduce appointment length and total treatment time. As a certified Invisalign provider, he has proudly earned the reputation of being one of the top Invisalign providers in California.
Doctor John Feusier completed his pre-doctoral education at University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received his Bachelor of Sciences degree with Honors. During his time at UCSB, he developed a passion for orthodontics working part-time as a chair-side assistant for Doctor Chad Wright in his bustling Santa Barbara practice.
Dr. Feusier then came back to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he had grown up, to attend University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. While at Pacific, Dr. Feusier was a researcher in Pacific’s Craniofacial Genetics Lab, participated in dental mission trips, and was the California Dental Association student representative, in which he was CDA Chapter President and a voting delegate during his final year.
In 2015, Dr. Feusier completed a three-year residency in orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Tx. Dr. Feusier received both his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics as well as his Master’s Degree in Oral Biology from Baylor.
Dr. Feusier has studied and practiced numerous treatment philosophies including Roth, Damon, Insignia, Alexander, MBT, and Tweed. He has experience using both 0.018 and 0.022 bracket systems. Dr. Feusier is Invisalign™ certified and has treated several cases using Invisalign™ and other clear aligner technologies. He has diagnosed and treated orthognathic surgery cases using a variety of surgical procedures and techniques and has experience with adult interdisciplinary care involving periodontic, prosthodontic, endodontic, and surgical treatment. Dr. Feusier has also successfully treated cases with corticotomy-assisted orthodontics.
During his residency, Dr. Feusier was fortunate enough to rotate through Children’s Medical Center and work with their Craniofacial team to treat those patients living with a variety of craniofacial anomalies, and he looks forward to continuing to treat these difficult and complex cases. Dr. Feusier is also trained in TMD diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Feusier is well-versed in the placement of various miniscrew implant systems and their biomechanical uses in treatment. He is trained in the use of diode lasers and electrosurgery units for soft-tissue contouring. In 2016, Dr. Feusier received his Board Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics, a level of certification obtained by a very small portion of Orthodontists in the United States.
In 2015, Dr. John Feusier married his wife, Daniela, an internationally trained dentist whom he met while both were at Baylor. When he’s not perfecting smiles, Dr. Feusier loves spending time outdoors with his wife and dog, Cali. He can be found surfing, working out, training in the discipline of Krav Maga, and singing/songwriting.
